The 2016–17 schedule for The CW covers Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The network first announced their fall schedule on May 19, 2016 and their mid-season schedule on November 16, 2016.

The Flash, No Tomorrow, Arrow, and Frequency premiered the week on October 3, 2016. Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supernatural premiered the week of October 10, 2016. The Vampire Diaries and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend premiered on October 21, 2016.
