The fifth season of The 100 premiered on The CW on April 24, 2018, and concluded on August 7, 2018. It was announced on March 10, 2017.
The season aired on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. following The Flash in the spring for the first eight episodes of the season, and at 8:00 p.m. prior to The Outpost in the summer for the remaining five episodes.
The season arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on October 9, 2018.
